Today I went to academy sports planning on buying a pack of trick worms and I came out with a Shimano Citica 200 g7. It was on sale for $64.99 and it's original price was $129.99. Did I get a deal?

P.S. Go Panthers!!! Keep pounding!!!

You can usually find them around 90$ on aunction sites. So unless they're discontinuing it for a better model that I haven't heard of I would say yes you definitely got a pretty good deal. They retail for 130ish$ as you said. So not bad all in all, roughly half price.

I would say so for a NIB reel. The G series was one that was lost in the shuffle between the ever popular E series and love it or hate it "I" series which is where Shimano changed the breaking system. Enjoy your reel!
