Does anyone have this unit?

If so what are your opinions.

Bass Pro has this for 550 next week, and from what im reading the transducer in the sale unit is much better than their "new" unit for 850..

Anyone have any screen shots as well?

This is going on a kayak, Hobie Pro Angler 12.

Im torn between this, the helix 7

Thanks

are you sure you are talking about the echomap and not the stryker?  That seems like a really good deal, where did you find the link?

Yeah I bought this in thanksgiving timeframe. My transducer is gt40tm. It rocks. I paid $500 at cabelas but bass pro is advertising  $550. Maps are great too.

After giving the Humminbird and lowrance units a good look over, the garmin was the clear choice for me.

I'm probably going  to buy the chirp version for the front of my boat so I can use the panoptix transducer.

I'm taking Friday off to make sure I get a 73sv at Bass Pro before they sell out.

Isn't the panoptix transducer $1,500 by itself?

no this one does not have chirp. But from info that i looked up. which im not sure if its true or not based on garmins web site. this unit has Chirp down vu and side vu... just not chirp sonar.. the new unit has chirp sonar. and down and side vu.. but same maps.. not a huge difference what so ever

so not a 300 dollar worth getting the chirp one?

I posted somewhere else, but I already have the echomap43dv wondering if i should just get the stryker7 since i already have the maps and no desire to do panovision.

thoughts?
