I am  a Floridian,born and raised.I have largemouth fished for 40 + years.I have never caught a small mouth .Starting to get interested in them.What's the closest good smallmouth lake to Florida?

catching a 4lb+ smallmouth on medium light spinning tackle will blow your mind!

It's not close by but if you ever get the chance come on up to Lake St Clair in mid to early May and you will have your fill of smallmouth and plan a return trip ;)
