Lots of good Rock/Metal screams out there but here are a few of my faves:

Gotta have Rob Halford in the group. First few seconds

And a lot of people have never noticed the fine scream in the background of this one by Steve Perry at 2:28

And don't leave out Sammy in this one at 4:06

I know, I'm a little passionate about my music; especially vocals.

So you got any favorites?

I let out a pretty good scream/roar when my wrench slips off a Sloan valve and I bust my knuckles on the block wall.... does that count?

This is a good start. Starts at 0:11 and happens a lot throughout the song. I'll try not to "ruin" this thread with a bunch of death metal. But yeah, these guys are pretty good. Canadian thrash with some fantasy thrown in. Two horns up.

That's it, this thread can now be locked!!!!  In "When the Music's Over" on the word NOW!!!!, or his scream at the end of their live version of "Gloria" absolutely gives me goose bumps and makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.  He was the best!!!!

Little Richard singing Lucille....classic in the true sense.

You can say what you want about Metallica's albums post "...And Justice for All," but they always put on an awesome show and play a lot of the old stuff.

The only album Metallica completely bombed and probably regret releasing was St. Anger. That album sounded like Animal from the muppets took over Lars with only a snare drum. Everything Black and before was legendary. After that it was a little bumpy but still patinum stuff.

I've seen thm once and I regret not going more when i was younger.

I agree, St. Anger sucked & bad..

I like load and reload though. Death Magnetic as well. In 98 they played for 3 hours in louisville.. what a show that was..
