I'd love to fish with @A-Jay for a day. As well, there's a couple of great sticks up here in Canada that know our water really well. People like Gord Pyzer, "Big Jim" McLaughlin, and a close personal friend named Danny Dunn. It'd be an honour to learn from any one of these gents.

As far as Elite pros go...first choice would be KVD, second would be Ike, and third would be Edwin.

The sentimental choice would be dad...he's still alive but mobility is a real issue for him in his old age. We used to drift around in the canoe plunking worms for panfish and bass in between weed clumps...those were some really fun times. :)

A day on the water with Bill Dance would be just plain fun, and it wouldn't matter if we caught a single fish.

Any of the Linders-freaking legends that have proven they are great teachers!

LakeForkGuy-feel like I know him!

KVD-The greatest tourney fisherman and my kind of guy, humble and positive!

Sorry but I think I'd rather not go fishing than fish with Ike. He drives me crazy.

Either KVD or Roland Martin. Both great anglers and good people.

I think it would be James Watson since he's freaking hilarious or KVD of course.

well he was not a famous bass fisherman but I sure would love to spend a day with Dad fishing again. He was the first to take me fishing and we made some pretty good memories that I sure cherish. Dad has been gone 17 years now and there is not a day that goes by that I do not miss him.  If you still have your Dad with you and he likes to fish do not miss the opportunity to make some memories with him. You will be grateful someday that you did.

First choice would be my grandson Logan.

He is just getting into fishing and its great to see his excitement.

We bought him a bait casting reel for his birthday and I gave him one of my very favorite

crank bait lures. His very first cast with his new rod and reel and the lure I gave him, he caught a bass.

Was maybe a 1 pounder but was he so proud.

I would most likely choose Scott Martin. He seems like a really mellow and chill guy.  And he knows his stuff.

His mother in law is one of my customers. She seems to really like him.She knows Roland too,of course. When I found all that out I was telling her how much I had enjoyed their shows through the years and she said maybe she could set it up where I could meet them someday.Im not holding my breath over it,but that would be cool.

If I had to pick a pro it'd be Jacob wheeler. He seems like a really cool guy. But I'd much rather spend a day with my dad. I was 7 when he passed away so our time together was extremely limited. He loved to fish and passed that onto me. So there'd be nothing in life I'd appreciate more than the spend a day on ouachita in my lil procraft with my father.

I like all those old school guys , but just to pick one is realy hard to say I have learned something from all of them.

My dad because he passed away unexpectedly on Mothers Day morning. He got me started fishing for bream, crappie and bass as early as I could stand still and hold a rod-earlier than I can even remember. My desire to fish surpassed his by the time I was 10 or 11. I would beg him to take me on the weekends and we would spend the week at the local lake when he was on vacations. I honestly don't know who I would be without fishing as a pastime or without my parents as role models. I miss him more than I ever thought I would. I got him to go once last summer to a really good pond and he caught a few before he got tired and sat on my tailgate talking to the landowner who is a family friend. I knew that would likely be the last time we ever fished together. Now I wish I had taken pictures.

Different kind of pro but John Riggins is up there too.

Riggo would be able to show you how to fish those old Budweiser crankbaits.

Soft spoken guys like Guido Hibdon or Rick Clunn would make for an  enjoyable day .

Those pros who hoot and holler like a chimpanzee  when they land a nice bass get on my nerves  . Thy act  like its their first decent bass .

Dad's wrist has been bothering him lately, but I know we'll get out fishing together again soon. As far as famous folks I'd have to go with Hank Parker. Seems like a down to earth straight shooter to me. I'd be like a sponge around him and I'm sure I could learn a ton and have lot of fun doing it.
