yugrac Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 You did say famous bass fishermen right? I was a little confused by some of the responses. I would also pick my son, IF her were a famous bass fisherman, but he is not. Famous fisherman? Bill Dance hands down. 1 Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted February 4, 2016 Super User Posted February 4, 2016 The folks I would want to fish with would Include Catt, Mike Siebert, AJ, Dwight Hottle, Marty Burns, and Sam! 2 Quote

Brent Christian Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Well if I could fish with anyone for a day it would have to be my dad, he has been gone 13 months. The man taught me everything I know about fishing he was a boat Mechanic for 35 years and at one point t in time worked for Rowland Martin at his marina. He was 2 tourneys away fromantic the classic. Man what I wouldn't give just to fish with him one more time.. 9 Quote
Burtonxj Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Different kind of pro but John Riggins is up there too. 1 Quote
Trevor James Allen Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Bill dance and Skeet Reese 1 Quote
papajoe222 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Spence Petros. I had a chance to do just that 30yrs. ago, but there was a death in the family and I had to cancel. The man is a fountain of information, not just on bass fishing but fishing in general. Many an angler has learned important lessons from mentors such as him, sadly the only ones I did were from his informative articles. 1 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted February 5, 2016 Super User Posted February 5, 2016 Going to go old school here and say Virgil Ward. When I was young, I use to watch him on TV after we got home from church. 2 Quote
sprint61 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Butch brown, Swindle, or Tim Farmer(host of KY afield). Quote
tander Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I would say Bill Dance, watched him on TV forever. To me he is just a down home type of guy. 3 Quote
SenkoGuru Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Greg Hackney. He is from my neck of the woods and my favorite Pro fisherman. He also fishes the way I like to fish, would be really great to get to fish a day with Hackney. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 6, 2016 Super User Posted February 6, 2016 Heck if I know anymore. Used to think I'd pick a celebrity or two...but these days, I'm not so sure. Come to think of it, probably Hank Parker. Nobody trash talks as much as he does. But I have to second @GonzoFishing - Larry Dahlberg would be my "not-in-the-USA" guy, hands-down. 1 Quote
Snakehead Whisperer Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I'd really like to fish with Bill Siemantel. Duuude! Quote
RCCA Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I'd fish with Pee Wee Herman if he could solve my deep fishing issues! I'd even do Pee Wee's little dance dance on the back deck! Lol Quote
