I use a BPS  7'4" Extreme.   It is allegedly a medium action.   I think of it as a MH backbone and it is more "tippy" than any other 7'4" rod I've seen.  The semi-flexible tip seems to give me all the distance I need and when I get bit the rod has enough backbone to get the fish up and out of the cover pretty quickly.   I generally throw square bills on an abrasion resistant mono 17 lb test the vast majority of the time.

X2 I use the same. To be specific, I am currently using a 7' MHM St Croix Avid.

I use a Fenwick HMG 7'2" M-MF, it is a medium but it is rated 3/8oz to 1oz. The length gives it more backbone as the mod fast tip gets into the backbone pretty quick which makes it nice for banging square bills through cover or ripping traps off of grass.

I just started using a Powell 3D 734, so far it seems to be a great squarebill rod.

7'-3" 1/4oz.-1oz.  a lot of backbone in it!

I throw the 100 - 200 size squarebills on a St. Croix LTB 7'2" M/M and absolutely love it. If you want a little more backbone the MH/M will give you that.

I use a Phenix X11 composite rod for all cranking.

You can't go wrong with a BPS Crankin' Stick. Awesome rod and for an awesome price. I use a 7' medium for my square bills.

7' gen 1 Veritas mmf gets the nod from me for squares, shallows (dt6, etc) and lipless. Plenty of backbone and I just keep the braid off to maintain enough give for the treble hooks.

I have a 7'6 MH Veritas Winch for cranking. The rod tip is really soft but still has power when you set the hook.

I have this. It's alright, it's too soft in my opinion.

I use a dobyns champion 684cb and a Shimano Crucial 7' M-M.

I have this. It's awesome.

I'd recommend the Champion. If you don't want to spend that much, the Fury comes in 705cb, which is pretty good. I like it more than my Veritas.

6'9 MH-MF, I'm usually aiming at specific targets. Stumps, letdowns, etc..

MH helps get fish out of cover and a soft tip helps keep it pinned.
