Lunker Addict Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I know this is a long shot but I am looking for a rod builder that is somewhat close to me. I had a rod built last year but the builder was not local and I would like to be more involved with this build. The last rod I had built was built on a Northfork HM blank and I am extremely happy with the quality of the rod so I will probably look at using the same blank. If anybody know somebody and could let me know that would be great. It seems everybody I find only builds fly rods. Thanks, Jeremy Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I suggest posting on Rodbuilding.org There's a larger community of builders there. Batson may be along with suggestions as well. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 2, 2016 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 2, 2016 Batson, which is located in Sequim btw, has a list of verified rod builders. They should be able to help you. Quote

Batson Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Here's a couple in Spokane (though I'm sure there's plenty more) Alpha Angler alphaanglercustoms@gmail.com www.alphaangler.com NFC has a certified rod builder list, with one listed for Spokane: Barrett Custom Fishing Rods barrettcustom@gmail.com www.barrettcustom.com But there's a lot of great builders around the country who're used to working with people over the phone and shipping a complete rod.
