I got a curado 101b but the spool shaft had rusted against the bearing after finally freeing the two parts I am left looking for a spool. 1 does any one have a 101b spool and 2 are spools interchangeable between left and right handed reels.

Cant help you with a spool, but the right and left handed reel spools are identical, and interchangeable.

Good luck on finding one.

Not everything is lost yet, you can contact Shimano and ask them if they have a Curado 100DSV/Citica 100D spool available, it´s the exact same spool of the 100/101B reel, if you want a shallower spool you can use the Curado 100/101D spool and even the Chronarch 50 Mg spool.

thanks a lot guys. So ebay had a spool and I jumped on it. I am going to contact shimano about getting a chronarch 50 spool that would be awsome. I installed a new pawl, carbontex drag and abec 7s just waiting on the spool.

I have a 100 d set up that way, it's a fun reel to fish.  I recently aquired a pair of 100 b's, I didn't know the 50mg spool would fit them.  I might have to find one too.
