Super User Darren. Posted January 31, 2016 Super User Posted January 31, 2016 Sorry I can't help you with the area you're fishing tomorrow, but since you're new to the site, let me be the first to welcome you aboard! Now if you fish the Peninsula, I'll suggest Harwood's Mill, Lee Hall (both need permits), Bethel Reservoir, Waller Mill, etc. Quote
CanoeBasser Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 Im right by the Norfolk base so the peninsula isn't far from me unless your way up on the peninsula Quote

You will hit Sandy Bottom Park, then Bethel Reservoir, keep going and you'll hit Newport News Park (Lee Hall Reservoir). In between those, and from 64, take 17 north you'll find Harwood's Mill. There's also Lake Maury in Newport News by Christopher Newport University. But on the South Side there are plenty of spots that hold bass as I've been told! Quote
ChazfromVA Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 this time of the year west neck is gonna fish really tough. if i was you i would try bobs fishing hole on the northwest river in chesapeake, throw jerkbaits and jigs, also i would check out all the norfolk drinking lakes in the city of suffolk. lake prince western branch, and burnt mills are all very good options full of very big fish. you will need a norfolk boat permit for these lakes though Quote
