I was going to get a Fenwick HMG 6' 6" Medium /Fast rod, will it be balanced with the stradic?

Any other suggestions?

St. Croix Avid AVS66MLF or St. Croix LES70MF.     (You should probably state what your budget is.)

I have Stradic FJ 1000 which balances perfectly
i.e., tip-light for me, on a 6'6" BPS White Carbonlite.

The FJ 1000 is, I think, a 1/2 oz heavier than the
2500 CI4+, so it would balance tip light, as well.

I've got my Ci4+ 2500 paired with a NRX SYR 822 rod.  Its been on there since new for a few years now,  and its NEVER coming off of it!!!  Best finesse rod and reel a guy could ever want.

The Ci4 is one of the best spinning reels you can buy, seems a shame to put it on a $100 rod. :annoyed1:

At a minimum i'd recommend that you look at the Fenwick Aetos, St Croix Avid X, and the G Loomis E6X.  I'm sure it will balance to any of them.

If you can give us an idea of what technique you're planning to use I'm sure you'll get some specific responses.
