Gambler Cane Toad.  I tried it late last year, and loved it.  Can't wait to use it more this summer.

x2 on the Black/Black Cavitron...my new favorite after using it a lot this summer.
But my long-standing traditional favorite is a chrome heddon torpedo (actually prefer the 1/4oz tiny torpedo)

Depends when and where, but a frog is always tied on. Spook and buzz are right there too

I have wore out a dozen or so original Lunker Lures . Use them until the blade wears through . They are at their best right before the end .

Frog, then a frog, and then a frog again, and when that isn't working, I throw a frog. Yes even in open water. I can't remember the last time I used a treble hooked spook type or pop-r style lure..........In fact I sold all my spooks/poppers.

Walking baits (several), bulged SB's, buzzbaits (a couple sizes), and a waker are my primary GoTo's. When I use them depends on conditions. I also use various slop baits, SS cranks, floating Rapala, and the Jitterbug.

like the Jitterbug, it´s not the most productive nor it works in every condition, it´s simply the one Iike.

Last summer it was the Chug'n Spook, Jr in frog pattern with the Booyah Pad Crasher coming in a close second. I had decent luck on the Pop R in late spring and Chug Bug in early summer.

Almost need to distinguish between soft body and hard body. I like the MB Xpod for hardbaits. The lip allows me to adjust it for what type of action/presentation you need. For soft body a hollow body frog is nice but I am one of the few people that really like the Yum Money Hound.

I have an old unidentified black and herringbone popper that is my standby, but Live Target Field Mouse Ribbit Frogs are awesome too.
