BigBasses Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 What is yours? I'd say mine is a LC Gunfish. Quote
Toeshots Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 For me it's the Super Spook Jr. in Black Shore Shad. 1 Quote
68camaro Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Megabass giant dog or pop X's, size depending on conditions. Also strike king sexy dog is productive.. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted January 30, 2016 Global Moderator Posted January 30, 2016 Bone colored Pop R. But the Whopper Plopper is a close 2nd. Mike Quote
Big C Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Gambler Cane Toad. I tried it late last year, and loved it. Can't wait to use it more this summer. 1 Quote
lecisnith Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Spro glide65 in pumpkinseed, black on black cavitron buzzbait. Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 x2 on the Black/Black Cavitron...my new favorite after using it a lot this summer. But my long-standing traditional favorite is a chrome heddon torpedo (actually prefer the 1/4oz tiny torpedo) Quote

Super User gardnerjigman Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 Depends when and where, but a frog is always tied on. Spook and buzz are right there too 1 Quote
Super User scaleface Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 I have wore out a dozen or so original Lunker Lures . Use them until the blade wears through . They are at their best right before the end . Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 Frog, then a frog, and then a frog again, and when that isn't working, I throw a frog. Yes even in open water. I can't remember the last time I used a treble hooked spook type or pop-r style lure..........In fact I sold all my spooks/poppers. Quote
Super User Paul Roberts Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 Walking baits (several), bulged SB's, buzzbaits (a couple sizes), and a waker are my primary GoTo's. When I use them depends on conditions. I also use various slop baits, SS cranks, floating Rapala, and the Jitterbug. Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 I like the Jitterbug, it´s not the most productive nor it works in every condition, it´s simply the one Iike. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 Has to be a Pop-R. 1 Quote
Super User the reel ess Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 Last summer it was the Chug'n Spook, Jr in frog pattern with the Booyah Pad Crasher coming in a close second. I had decent luck on the Pop R in late spring and Chug Bug in early summer. Quote
EvanT123 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 gunfish95/academy pistol minnow and for poppers. Rebel popr/Excalibur Zell pop. Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 30, 2016 Super User Posted January 30, 2016 Love my Spit'n Image for shear fun and numbers Skitter Walk Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted January 31, 2016 Super User Posted January 31, 2016 Almost need to distinguish between soft body and hard body. I like the MB Xpod for hardbaits. The lip allows me to adjust it for what type of action/presentation you need. For soft body a hollow body frog is nice but I am one of the few people that really like the Yum Money Hound. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I have an old unidentified black and herringbone popper that is my standby, but Live Target Field Mouse Ribbit Frogs are awesome too. Quote
