Liked the cork grips on St.Croix,s. Have some rods that, have rudder/synthetic.

Question: I your opinion, Is there a way to improve the grip? What's a good wrap (manufacture, material) to put over that type of handle?

Winn has wrap tape now.  Very nice stuff.

We recently starting distributing the Winn Grip Tape and have been playing with it around the office. It’s definitely great for rejuvenating older grips on a rod and feels good too (easy to put on).

We also carry Heat Shrink Tubing with X-Flock in a few color combinations – great way to add a little decoration to EVA and such. If going over beat-up cork handles you’ll want to sand the cork and fill in the holes before adding the Tubing.

All of these are available through our dealers which you can find through:

I just put these on my Dobyns 806 since I'm not very fond of EVA grips.  I got my stuff from California to Chicago in 2 days.  Its a much better feel in my hands and stupid easy to install.  Plus I have enough to do probably 3 more rods.

Handle bar tape for a road bike.  Cork, vinyl, carbon, eva, leather...  tons of options.
