Here are some random pics.  Was first looking at the TM Pro Team 175s, but the Lowe was much nicer so I had to pick one up.

Will be picking the boat up next week after the Maxxum 70 + Extra battery gets put in and the custom cover is made.

Once I get her in the garage I'll be putting on a Garmin Echomap 93sv w/ GT52, RAM 6" swing mount, Stern Saver Mount for transducer, troll perfect / Coolfoot on Maxxum 70 and a Minn Kota 315D charger.

Later on down the road I'll get a good buttseat, but usually I just stand all day.

Should have everything she will need for Spring.

That is a nice boat - similar to mine, which is a 2002 LOWE WF 180.  A few years down the road you will learn about one of the curses of tin boats, i.e. the console transducer must be mounted outside the hull for it to read and getting it to read while you are on plane is tricky.  Also, I fish in pretty stumpy waters and I was averaging breaking 1 or 2 brackets per year and I replaced the transducer twice.

Then I found out about a product called the Alumaducer.  It is an after market transducer, made by Vexilar, that can be adapted to many different units.   It shoots through the hull.  It works great while you are putting around looking at stuff.  It works OK when you're on plane.  Best of all no more shattered brackets or broken transducers caused by smacking into stumps.  Something to consider.

If you're real handy with tools and stuff I guess you could install it yourself.  I am not.  I had to look for a while to find a dealer who had experience in installing that product.    I live just outside the KC Metro area and the closest dealer I could find was in St. Louis - towed my boat to St. Louis one week and picked it up the next.

Ya, cabin fever has definitely set in.  Been buying time organizing boxes and restocking tackle before spring as well as getting some new rod / reel combos set up.

Nice boat!

What Merc did you go with? look like a 4s  60/75/90?

Just the 60hp, most of my time will be creeping around with the trolling motor so I decided to upgrade it... no way would the 45 EDGE cut it for what I wanted.

Maxxum 70 digital maximizer / variable speed... had another battery put in and then got the Minn Kota 315D three bank charger.

About to order a troll perfect to control all that torque as well as a cool foot.

HPIM0400_zps2396e64d.jpgWell you should love it. I run a 2010 Stinger 170 now with a 75 Merc (originally with a 25 for a restricted HP lake) and she has been on waters  in VA, MD, PA,TN,and KY.  It is a traveler.  In April my wife, the dog, and the boat are headed back to KY for a week on Dale Hollow!! Can't wait. Enjoy your new one.

Sweet. I went the same route. Black 2017 Stinger 175. It's ready and withing for me to pick up.  Ordered it from Cabelas in Dundee MI. Ordered it before I moved to Tennessee. Kentucky Lake will be her stomping grounds. I too got the 60 hp. Sales person talked me out of the 75. Said I would get better mileage and that the difference wasn't enough to worry about. Will pick it up in about four more weeks. When the snow is pretty much gone and I won't have to worry about the salt :-) thinking about adding Mercury's Vessel View. Should help me keep it humming for years. There is a gas station here in town that sells ethanol free fuel as well. Can't wait to pick her up.

Question for you since you ordered from Cabelas - and OP you may be able to chime in.. are their prices negotiable? I visited my local Cabelas to see the Stinger 175 they had and even after all their "discounts and rebates" the price still felt higher than MSRP. For example I know with Tracker/Bass Pro it's a non negotiable hagglefree pricing.

really nice rig. the only thing I don't like is the front livewell. congrats.

I felt that they were in line with other Lowe dealers in general. The same boat in Kentucky ran 2k more so shop around. Feel that I got a good price. Just missed the same boat at Cabelas that went for 4k less because it was 2 years old. It was still brand new though. Story of my life :-(  I have since seen the same boat in two marinas here in TN. One was over priced by around 1k while the other one was in line with the manufacturers msrp. I feel that Cabelas as a dealer is slightly ahead of the independants.

Nice color scheme.  I got a Maxxum upgrade for my bow mount too because the Edge wasn't going to cut it.
