Syppy Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I've got a few Spinnerbaits that the skirts have been torn to pieces. I'm debating whether to start trying to order skirts and whatever else I'd need to reskirt them, but then again I'm looking at how cheap I can generally get them. Is it worth it to redo the skirts myself? Or would it just be worth the time-saver to go and buy a whole new spinnerbait? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted July 8, 2010 Super User Posted July 8, 2010 Most of the shops around here sell the skirts. They're just a couple bucks, and usually its three to a package. You can also get the skirt making tools and materials from luremaking retailers online, if you want to try custom skirts. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted July 8, 2010 Super User Posted July 8, 2010 Take a look at www.fishingskirts.com. They have all kinds of skirts, bands and a $4 tool. Be careful about getting carried away. After I chose mine and my wife chose hers we had 1400 come to the house. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted July 8, 2010 Super User Posted July 8, 2010 I replace my beat-up skirts with the Strike King Perfect Skirts. I like the "Magic Tails". If you like to use trailers on your spinnerbaits, they are built in, and if not, you can cut them off. They are $2.99 for a package of two. Many good colors also. Falcon Quote

Super User bigbill Posted July 16, 2010 Super User Posted July 16, 2010 I been using the white spinnerbait skirts with the blue or purple hue to them. They seem to be the best here in CT along with the hot chartruese skirts. Quote
