Tlaz Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Ive used Seguar Invisx and Red label. For braids, I've used PP super 8. Want to try something new this year. So far I've only spoiled up my Jig rod with 40 lb Trilene Professional. ( it was on sale ) Just wondering what your favorite braids and fluoros are. I know there will be many opinions about this but I don't want to waste money on crap line. Thanks Tom Quote
tander Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 When I started back fishing last year, I swore I would never use FC, Trilene was good enough for me. I then tried Sunline Sniper FC and now that is all I will use. It's thinner than most and really holds up well. I put some on at the first of last year and it still on my reels, although I will change it out next month. I still like a mono for crankbaits and am still trying different ones. For the time being, I am using Sunline Natural for the cranks. As far as braid, I think Power Pro is good as any. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted January 27, 2016 Super User Posted January 27, 2016 PowerPro Super Slick 8 and regular PP, yellow plus a leader - on all my setups. Leader will be either Yo-Zuri Hybrid, P-Line Floroclear, or XPS Fluorocarbon.... Quote
bigfruits Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 im very happy with sunline sniper as well. i hear tatsu is great, i ordered a bunch on sale but have not tried it yet. very pricey at retail. Quote
Tlaz Posted January 27, 2016 Author Posted January 27, 2016 I was thinking of trying the Sunline Sniper. It was cheap on EBay. I'm gonna give it a shot and probably stick with the PP. thanks Quote
blckshirt98 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I use Seaguar InvisX and Sniper FC for bass. The InvisX is only because I got it super cheap, otherwise Sniper FC with zero interest in trying another fluoro. For braid I use both regular PowerPro and Sufix 832. I've tried Nanofil, Fireline, and Slick8, prefer the PowerPro and Sufix 832 over the three of those. Quote
