It was good, but what a process. I just do the dough and sauce now and let Kraft do the cheese for me......Chicago Deep Dish could be a possibility now...Thanks for posting. Quote

smallie.mike Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Italian sausage and brats with onions and peppers on the grill if it's not in the teens or below. Homemade Italian beef if it's too cold to grill. Maybe both if I'm feeling ambitious. Quote

Specially since after having heart by pass surgery my wife says I can't have that stuff any longer. Which is why I've gotten so creative and getting it? 1 Quote

I cook them on charcoal with the peppers and onions in a cast iron skillet next to them. I get my italian sausage from a place in chicago that pretty much only makes Italian sausage and it's AWESOME! It's a 40 mile drive but well worth it. You gotta have a good chewy crusty roll to put it on too. Now I'm hungry lol. Quote

Just a little bit of everything. It could be a long game overtime wise. i don't care who wins as long as the Pats aren't in it this year. I'm in it for the food anyway? Lol when I make my famous bacon, onion, cheeseburgers Bigfoot shows up screaming. In the north country in the wilds. try something different make a pastrami Rubin? grill rye bread with butter and Swiss cheese. Grill the pastrami and sauerkraut. Mix ketchup, with mayo and green relish. Assemble the sandwhich like a grille cheese and enjoy. Goes great with those large dill pickles on the side 1 Quote
