Does anyone have any experience dropshotting the Yum Killshot? It seems similar to the Anglers choice killshot (name theft even!) And the kvd dream shot with just a smaller, more subtle profile.

One plus for the Yum is I can get it at my local gander mountain. I like the look of the Anglers choice but it'd be an online buy only...

I have used it, but I liked the Yum Warning Shot better..............and so did the fish, which is why I like it better. The Yum Kill Shot is very similar, tail wise, to the Jackal Cross tail shad, and/or the Zoom Z-drop...........both baits I never much cared for. The Warning Shot was a "new to me" bait in my 2015 rotation that ended up becoming a perminate addition. I liked it so much, I replaced my previous "go to"  three inch-ish drop shot bait, the berkley twitch tail minnow with them. Of the three "new" yum finesse/drop shot baits, the warning shot, and sharpshooter were winners for me................the kill shot meh...not so much.

Yum's new line of dropshot baits is pretty good. I fished all 3 this past year and like them all. I did pretty well with the Killshot. Pictured is a 4 lb smallie that seemed to like it too.

Here's a quick look at what it looks like in the water.

I'm glad to hear you like them since we're in the same area! It sure doesn't hurt they're price friendly. Awesome fish btw

They're definitely tough to beat for their price! I think something like a Strike King Dream Shot will get a few more bites on the really though days, but I reserve those for tournaments, or days that are REALLY tough. When you average a fish or less per bait it doesn't take long to burn through a few packs. The durability of the Killshot I thought were pretty good and like I said in the video despite not having that super soft plastic they have a nice action. It's nice and subtle like a good dropshot bait should be.

Hmm good tip on the Dreamshots, I don't do tourneys so any bait that doesn't last long isn't high on my list. They are nice looking though haha.

I hear ya! As much as I fish I need to keep the expenses down when I can. If you have some extra change laying around though, a single pack might be a good investment to keep as your secret weapon to prevent a skunking haha.

Haha very good pint, anti skunk bait! I've been seeing them at Gander so I may just do that

I have sharpshooters bookmarked for my next order. those things look like underwater spaghetti ripe for fish to slurp up. read nothing but good things about them. heck I do well DS zoom finesse worms so I'm sure I'll like them
