I have a three year old yellow lab. And a year old plus cat we took in as a kitten. Now there's something special about dogs and cats with pink noses. My cat is a tabby(orange and white) with a pink nose. He's out going and not afraid of anything. My story is the wife has a treat box for the pets. The cat loves the dogs chicken jerky. The cat goes in the box, in the bag of chicken jerky and takes out enough to feed the dog and himself. The cat made sure he took out extra. This tabby is so darn smart.

We have a female cat - rescue from a likely
auto-killed mother. She eats nothing human,
only what's in her cannister. But dang, what
an awesome feline she is

She spars with our 2 year old black lab and
our 6 year old neutered mix: Peekapoo/
Bichon Freese/Maltese.

Guess my point is our cat eats nothing the
dogs or humans eat....

I have only ever had one cat that begged for human food, he'd eat anything we gave him, except for hotdogs and baloney.

I was almost charged with animal abuse with my black lab. His face was so badly scared up you would swear a knife did it. He constantly fought with my cats he never gave up. Till he got older. But my vet was mad at me at first. He even tried to chew on my rotweiller. Well he was a chew toy for my rottie at first till I told him not to take that. Then he chewed on the rottie and it all stopped. Both were awesome dogs once they settled down and got along.

My youngest daughter fosters cats, gives them a temporary home until they are able to be adopted, she has done tremendously well with the program but gets emotionally attached to each one of them, she has adopted 4 herself and has fostered many that have gone on to hopefully loving and caring families, between our 3 families we have 8 dogs, 4 cats, plus we have 5 cats that are fosters, not a single one of them is not without their own personality, none have provided the same smarts as your cat bigbill although a lot of them have the same pink nose LOL !!

I absolutely HATE cats. That being said, I had one come up to the house about 2 months ago and she is the friendliest cat I have ever been around. I imagine she was someones house cat and they just drove out in the country and dropped her off. I wouldn't feed her at first thinking she would eventually leave but she stuck around and even started become quite a hand on the mice population. Every time she kills a mouse or mole she will bring it to the front step and show me through the glass door. I have started feeding her since it appears she isn't leaving. She doesn't have a name, just CAT.

Are you sure that Tabby didn't think he was removing clumps from the litter box?
