Brent Christian Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Here in Eastern Kentucky we have 11 inches and counting.. What about everyone else? 1 Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 1.5" in kansas. Stay safe out east boys. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 Just had "huge" snow/ice storm with about an inch or two on the ground, all frozen solid. The whole state is shut down and the governor declared it an "emergency." But 4 people did die, so it is serious. I'm used to it from living in MN though. Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 Last I looked, about two hours ago, we had 8 inches. And it is still coming down in Richmond. Quote
Srmccourt Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I'm in the bad spot in PA. Around 24" or so right now but still coming. They're calling for up to 38" where I live Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 Thankfully we're only getting about 4" out of this. We feel pretty lucky considering we're 20 miles SW of Boston and we're usually getting clobbered this time of year. Last year at this time we were getting hit with one storm after the other. I had just finished clearing the driveway for the 3rd time that day and I was standing on the bed of my truck taking this pick. There's a fence under the snowbank somewhere: Good Luck Folks!. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 Still coming down here in DC Quote
Turkey sandwich Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 About to dig out the hunting boots to clear my car. We have well over a foot last I checked here in Philly. Quote
Ski213 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Probably around 8" in central ky. It's blown around a lot though so it's hard to tell. A lot deeper in spots. The sun is shining now. Quote

I had a close call with some last week. As for Indy, we've got nothing to show for this. Too bad, I was hoping to shoveling driveways. Make some extra $$ Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 I thought I saw some snow flurries here last night but it was just lint on my glasses lens.... Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 In the low to mid 30s now, still snowing. Quote

Super User BrianinMD Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 questioning why i have stayed... I am just north of dc. Quote

People will consistently pay 20-30 bucks for a 30 minute job on their driveway. It adds up fast. 1 Quote
thomas15 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I have 20" here in the Pocono Mountains in NE PA. Really not that big of a deal for this area. Quote

Sometimes I get 5, other times, the older guy really likes ya and gives ya 50. Mostly the latter, and then you really win. Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 That white stuff is cotton candy ? Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 About a foot. Still snowing, but should wind down in the next two hours. Should have a sunrise tomorrow a.m. and less wind. Between our driveways and the neighbors I've got about three hours of snow blowing to get things cleaned up. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 It has beaten the previous record for snowfall, 32"@ 7pm has been recorded here at the airport Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 24, 2016 Global Moderator Posted January 24, 2016 Just a couple inches but the 1/4" of ice below it makes up for the lack of snow. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 The total we have had this winter is somewhere around 3.5". We usually get at least one big storm each winter. Quote
