Gamec0cks5 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 So what do y'all think? I am not thrilled with the Jointed one but I did what I could ;D I went for shad imitations since that is 1 of the 2 biggest forage we have on the lake Jointed Wakebait Rebel Pop-R: Quote
Captain Obvious Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 That shad is awesome even if it didn't turn out the way you wanted . look great Quote
Steven Ladner Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Looks good, especially for them to be your first ones. Quote
Super User islandbass Posted June 11, 2010 Super User Posted June 11, 2010 Nice work. Some people got it, and some people don't. You have it and I know I don't. You're way ahead of me. I can't paint worth a darn. Quote
Gamec0cks5 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 Thanks Guys! I really need to get the bluegill pattern down now lol Just need to get some more practice in. I need to go catch some fish on it too ;D Quote
Gamec0cks5 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 I love the pop-r but that jointed wakebait was a POS. I used it today and after 3 casts the front eyelet pulled right out of the bait :-[ It was only a 1.80 bait from Predatorbassbaits, it didn't run true or anything so it wasn't a big loss to me, but I did put some time into it. Now I see what you guys talk about when you say you just do repaints Thanks for all the compliments guys 8-) Quote
CCP Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 some of my best patterns have been the ones that didn't quite turn out the way that I had envisioned. Good job by the way Quote
