Super User buzzed bait Posted January 21, 2016 Super User Posted January 21, 2016 Mike at DVT is as legit as they get! He has helped me on numerous occasions both paid and un-paid. Just this morning he took my call and gave me step by step instructions on making a repair to one of my rods, with no hesitation to do so. He's a good guy with great service. If you need any work done on your rods or reels, I wouldn't recommend anyone else. 17 Quote

blckshirt98 Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 This isn't bass specific, but if a reel is being used for both freshwater and saltwater, are there different bearings/grease/drag washers that should be used if upgrading or does it not matter? I'm thinking of sending some reels in and wondering if I need to speciify which reels will be used in salt. Quote

cddan Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Dvt is very helpful and I appreciate his info and advice. I try to do my own work but if and when I can afford to I would definitely use the service they provide. 1 Quote

Super User buzzed bait Posted February 2, 2016 Author Super User Posted February 2, 2016 Had to come back and give Mike @Delaware Valley Tackle one more shout out. Just got my rod back that he repaired and it quite literally looks as good as new. Whole thing took less than a week from when i sent to him to when i got it back. Only missed 1 (uneventful) trip with the rod! Thanks again Mike! 1 Quote
