Sandhillcrab Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I use rage tail craws and power team lure sick sticks for most of my plastics fishing. What do you guys use? I use a lot of pulse-r's for slow fishing as well. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 19, 2016 Super User Posted January 19, 2016 Honestly, I'd actually be too embarrassed to admit it. Let's just say it's Vast and leave it at that. To quote Ricky Richardo (as done by Eddie Murphy) ~ A-Jay 3 Quote

Global Moderator Mike L Posted January 19, 2016 Global Moderator Posted January 19, 2016 Honey Candy Rage Cut R and Rage Craws mostly, but I have so much other stuff my index finger would be an inch shorter than the rest if I had to type it all Mike 2 Quote
alzun664 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I mostly use either Berkley Havoc Pit Boss both texas rigged or as a jig trailer, or Keitech Easy Shiner swimbaits 4" on a 2/0 EWG hook, weightless. Quote

Jake the Cake Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I'm with ww2farmer and pretty much my entire arsenal is Berkley/Powerbait/Gulp and Yum. I have two packages of Netbait Paca Chunk because I think they perform well on a drop shot and two packages of Z-man TRD for the Ned Rig. Honestly, not a GYCB in the bunch (Don't hold it against me). primetime Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 My main soft baits are: I used to be into Lake Fork soft baits for a month or two now they just sit...I go through phases... Culprit Ribbon Tails-6", 7.5", Fat Max in both sizes..... Power worms in 10", Chigger Craws Strike King-I like all their baits as do I like all of the GYB baits....I could fish either company and be happy with entire line. I like the price of Gambler baits & the EZ swimmer line is as good as it gets imo for soft swimbaits, they make great Florida Punch baits, and Havoc has good soft baits as well. I love a few baits by Larew-3 legged Frog, Tattle Tail Worm, Lunker City Sluggo, SS, Ribster series of baits & Salad Spoon. Bass Pro squirmin worms//Mr. Twister Phenom worms are the real deal as well. Brewer Finesse baits, Zoom has some baits you need in Florida as well.My addiction now is with Z-Man baits and Elaztach/ Strike King has the Zero which is made by same OEM for both. Still not sure if I am 100% on board, but I am as far as trailers for durability and buoyancy. At the end of the day, I would say you can't have a wrong answer since the "wrong bait presented the right way will outfish the Right bait presented the wrong way"...Fly fishing guys love to say that.....I stole it. Super User the reel ess Posted January 19, 2016 Super User Posted January 19, 2016 Berkley P'Bait, Zoom, Yamamoto. I've got some others, but I don't use them enough to say I use them. I got several sample packs of Stinky Fingers "Sponge baits". It's one of several lures in each color in each pack. I'll give them a try one of these nice, warm days. Quote
imagine29028 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I really like Big Bite Baits (im on a budget); the swimming craws are a ripoff of Netbait, but $2 cheaper. Some of the Kriet Signature stuff you can find marked down (cleaned up on the 25 days of xmas) Rage Menace & Craws are must haves. PitBoss is a must have. 10 inch Worm by Berkley is a standard. Trying some Gambler Easy Otters out this year. Colors: Back & Blue, GP, Junebug, Sprayed Grass. Love reds & purples in my baits, just a confidence thing. Quote
Super User Catt Posted January 19, 2016 Super User Posted January 19, 2016 There is not enough space in this site to list em all! 3 Quote
Super User scaleface Posted January 19, 2016 Super User Posted January 19, 2016 I'm a numbers fisherman . The way I see it the more fish I catch the better my chance at catching a lunker . Nothing puts bass in the boat for me like a straight tail 6 inch worm . Jelly worms are hard to beat . Quote

Lucas Julian Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I like the zoom Ol monster and the zoom baby brush hog. Quote

Yep I use a 4/0 Trokar TK 130 hook for regular bottom contact T rigging. I use these more for flippin and pitchin in heavy cover (but not for punching matt's ) and for casting and working back. Also a 5/0 Owner keel weighted hook (rage rig) for swimming over, in and through grass. Mike 1 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted January 19, 2016 Super User Posted January 19, 2016 I have never bought a plastic bait that I didn't want to fish with. 1 Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted January 20, 2016 Super User Posted January 20, 2016 My go to soft plastics last year were Kalins 5" grub Rons Craw in clear and dingy water Tubes, Swing oil my favorite right now Rainbow of colors ZinkerZ Ned rig style NetBait Paca Craws Yum Crawbugs Have others I like and will work with more and may break out some older baits next year, so this list will likely be different with the exception of the grub and tube, those old reliables still get me lots of fish. Super User ChrisD46 Posted January 20, 2016 Super User Posted January 20, 2016 Many good choices listed - however being from Georgia I use a lot of Zoom soft plastics (Zoom is based here in Georgia) ... My favorites from Zoom : Trick Worms , Finesse Worms , Baby Brush Hogs , Super Flukes , Fat Albert Grubs , Ultravibe Speed Craws , Lizards and the Centipede make for a well rounded offering . , I do like Yum , Berkley , Strike King , Yamamoto , Big Bites , V&M , Roboworm and Reaction Innovations offerings as well ... Like everyone else - I have my favorites from each supplier - but I find Zoom the best over all soft plastics I have found for my needs . 1 Quote
