GRiver Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 I just got a worm kit from a yard sale....3 molds, couple of containers of glitter, about 2lbs of used plastic, and 4 empty bottles of dye or colorant.( I think that is what is all over everything in the box) Which is why I need some advice on how to clean the molds. Whatever is on them is black and sticky, I've tried hot water and dawn dish soap. All so where does everyone buy their supplies for this. Any tips will help, all I know about worm making is what I've have seen on the net over the last couple of days. Thanks G Quote

GRiver Posted June 1, 2010 Author Posted June 1, 2010 looks like a resin, it's hard, not flex at all. Do you think mineral spirits will hurt it. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted June 1, 2010 Super User Posted June 1, 2010 If the stuff is on the back, that is where I'd start. Mineral spirits, acetone, etc. Put it on paper towels and try small areas to see if it will clean and do no harm. If worse comes to worse, get on tackleunderground and ask for some help. There are a lot more bait makers there than here. Quote
