It is a good rod for the money  and does it go on sale during the spring classic? Also what rod should I get for t-rigs, I would get the 7 med heavy but it goes all the way up to1 1/2 ounces

They are pretty good rods for $80. I think you could use the MH or a medium. Either would work. They should on sale when the spring Classic comes around

I would also recommend looking into the the Ethos micro at Academy. It's also a $80 rod and it's about the same quality

Eh.... i would say the acadamy rod is a better stick. I personally feel that BPS doesnt have anything that can compete with the academy rods until at LEAST the carbonlite line. I wasnt the biggest fan of the few bionic blade rods i owned. *shrug*  theyre alright i guess.

It's a decent first rod if you can find it on sale. At $80 I'd save my lunch money for a week and get a $100 Fenwick HMG.

I have an HMG and love it, but I have a gift card to BPS and wanted to see if I can get around 60 during the spring classic sale. Can I?

I Caroline Rig with a BPS Carbonlite 7' MH with no problem.  The Carbonlites will be marked down for the BPS spring classic sale.  Love those rods.  If you have any old rod, no matter how cheap, you can trade it in on a Carbonlite and get some cash towards the Carbonlite during the spring classic  I am up to eight Carbonlites and never had a problem with them..

I like the humps on the handles also.  Makes the rod easier to hold in cold weather when you have a pair of gloves on.

BPS will mark down the Carbonlites for their spring sales and may offer deals on shipping.as they are doing right now if your bill is over $75.

I have three of them, that I've had for over 10 years now. They perform perfectly for me. Great rod for the money.

I have a model that is also close to being a Decade old. Got it for 40 bones used. Great deal.

I have an older model (maroon color) that I picked up during the spring classic for about $45. It's the 7'6" H/F rod for A-rigs. It's rated up to 4oz. I've been happy with it. Sometimes you can find some good deals at the classic sale.

I have a Heavy Medium Bionic Blade spinning rod and have no complaints.  But it's my least favorite rod.  Because of Abu Garcia's easy warranty policy, I would go in that direction.  Matter of fact, I'm converting all my rods to Abu.

Bionic blades with the trade in are like $40 during the classic.  I have a MH Micro spinning rod.  I casts terribly but once the bait is in the water it's fine.
