Frise Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Heddon Torpedos and Rooster tails are the baits that have been slaying Bass and Snakehead by my house. Occasionally I will put on a Senko wacky rigged with a drop shop which usually catches a few Bass. 1 Quote

Every time this question comes up, and yes it's come up many...many times, I will always recommend Google Earth. Scout your area via GE, and then take a drive to check the area out. South Fl is loaded with canal systems. Some are bigger than others, and some stretches of these canals have nice cover and/or structure. Right now with all of this rain, water is moving. Find moving water and focus around culverts and you will find fish. Good luck. 1 Quote
Wurming67 Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 Try to find canals with good structure, vegetation and clear water can't go wrong Quote
Dalde003 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I've been fishing Broward county by land since I could walk.. the best thing I ever did was buy a John boat (fishing Weston this way is awesome)..and BassinLou is correct.. I've spent countless hours on google earth.. eventually u will find what you are looking for.. trial and error Quote

PremiumTime75 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 I appreciate all of the quick responses from everyone. The boat stayed up North, though its beginning to make sense... to get it here! Thx again for the suggestions. Quote

Opens up your accessibility to new waters tremendously. Good luck Quote

Your welcome!A boat is a big advantage but not needed for bass fishing here in South Florida. All the +10 pound bass I caught down here where from the shore. Quote
