Helo, I'm 22 and from the fresno area. I started bass fishing when I was 10 fishing in a pond near my house. I stopped fishing for bass when I was about 15 and just recently decided to get back into it. I checked my childhood pond this weekend and only saw a turtle. I guess it dried up during the drought and all the fish died. I bought a cheap kayak and plan on trying it out on some local lakes and the san jaquin river when it gets a little warmer. I enjoy fishing for trout the most but that might just be because I haven't tried bass fishing in about 7 years.

Looking forward to contributing and meeting new people on the forum.

Cencal, I'm from Tulare county and love to fish from a kayak. Mendora slough is perfect for kayak fishing.
