Heron Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I should have expected this, but every package of Twin tail grubs Ive ever seen has appendages that are creased and mangled. Am I supposed to be ok with this, and fish them as is, or am I going to be boiling these things for a while? Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 10, 2016 Super User Posted January 10, 2016 Makes no difference. 1 Quote
alzun664 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 If its affecting the action of the bait, then I'd boil them and dry them out straight. If not then I wouldn't bother with it. Quote
Jim Drinkwater Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I nteresting, maybe it is where you are getting your grubs from, I use quite a few and not usually a problem. Quote
Super User WRB Posted January 10, 2016 Super User Posted January 10, 2016 What brands are package damaged? The retailer should replace damaged goods if the packaging caused the problem. Tom Quote
Super User Angry John Posted January 10, 2016 Super User Posted January 10, 2016 Big bite baits from tw are always perfect Quote

Tom Multiple brands from multiple retailers. Frankly it seemed that any of these grubs that weren't packed with skilled precision, ended up being mangled. The ones I finally purchased were Chompers brand, ordered from Bass Pro. Quote

Heron Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 Yamamoto's seemed to be less effected by this. Quote
Super User WRB Posted January 10, 2016 Super User Posted January 10, 2016 If the soft plastics are damaged inside unopened packages the retailer will usually exchange them, the mfr resupplies the retailer if they want to continue doing business. It is worth your efforts to contacting both the retailer and mfr. Tom Quote

Super User WIGuide Posted January 11, 2016 Super User Posted January 11, 2016 Is it affecting the action of the grub? If not then just fish them. 1 Quote
