Just bought my first Lews, but have yet to use it.  Is there a more compact low profile reel than the Lews LFS series?  I'm very impressed with how comfortable and tight they are.  There is no play in the handle or anti reverse whatsoever.  I'd like to try their higher end reels.  $79 on Amazon you just can't beat it imo.  I have a Veritas and a quantum smoke rod that I'm debating on putting it on.

So I replaced the handle with a BPS Carbonlite handle.  The weight reduction with a carbon handles is kind of a joke. Went from 6.9oz to 6.8oz.  Still I like the EVA grips better than the big Lews paddle grips.

Ah I like that reel, a friend of mine often says "Lew's biggest mistake was making there lowest end reel so good."

I prefer the paddles over EVA grips any day lol

Really faithful to Lew's but i do prefer foam grips, best wishes and tight lines!

Revo handle looks cool and you dropped a little weight. I like that Tourney Lite prob only weighs 5.5oz with that handle.

I have one in the 7.6:1 mounted on a Falcon Cara T7 Headturner and I love it for pitching jigs. It is hands-down the nicest reel I have ever used at it's price point and about as nice a reel as I have ever used, period. That's saying something, considering that my other reels are Steez, SS SV and Alphas reels.

I bought an LFS Tournament MB and used it for the first time yesterday. I reviewed it earlier today in this forum. There is a real buzz about this line of reels. Expect prices to rise a bit. I thought mine was on par with reels in the $175 range. I got it for $122 off Amazon. They retail for $139 at Cabela's & BPS.

Or you can buy them brand new on ebay for $110 or so, free shipping. That's where I got both of mine. Unless some tackle store is running a serious special eBay is almost always the cheapest for new reels I've found.
