Fatboy makes a good point.

If you say jignpig or senko, your implying that you have an unlimited supply of plastic.

I know I'm being technical here, but it's part of the fun of games like this.

Sooooooooooooo... I would say a hair jig.

You see a desert island is, by definition, surrounded by salt water. Now maybe there is a pond in this desert with enough fresh water to hold bass, but then you simply tip the jig with something crawling around like a juicy scorpion and have a perfect jig/craw imitation.

If it doesn't kill you first.

Maybe I'll switch to the 5" senko watermelon/black

LOL ok ok if you were stranded on an island with a pond that holds lunker bass in freshwater  ;D

As long as we're playing this game.......I could use some green tree bark or maybe even some skin from a recently caught fish to fashion a jig trailer  ;)

5" Watermelon w/ Black Fleck SENKO!!!! HANDS DOWN, the most producing lure for me, for size and numbers. My favorite lure to fish is spinnerbaits and rattletraps, just dont get as many fish on em. Oh yeah...welcome aboard!!

As far as my question goes, if you were 'stranded' on an island or could only use 1 lure ever again what would it be? I would have to go with the Fat Ika for me, but I'd love to hear some of your responses. ;)

If it was real windy and stained water, I would go with Rauls choice single nickel colorado on a white 3/8oz spinnerbait, with a white/chart skirt.

If it were a relatively calm water slightly stained, then a 7" or 10" power worm black/blue t-rigged 3/16oz florida rigged rattling worm head.

Tight Lines!!!
