Big C Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I bought a Fuego XS, in November. I have really been able to use it frequently lately, and I noticed when I dial it in to cast really light lures (Ned Rig/small poppers) it will click a few times during the cast. Basically, I cast the lure while it's flying in the air the reel will make a clicking noise. It isn't a grinding noise, nor does it happen with heavier lures. So I'm thinking it is the braking system working. Is this normal or should I have it looked at? Quote
5fishlimit Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Please don't take offense to this question, but do you have a loop of line on the spool? That can slap on the frame of the reel and make that kind of noise. 2 Quote
