New to this site. I started fishing when I was 11 years old and fell out of it for a while. I'm looking to get back in and update my stuff.

I have a question: when I was a kid, I found a fishing spoon on the jetty at Hammonassett SP in CT. I've held onto it for all these years and my curiosity is bursting. It appears to be silver (it's solid), and it is marked Martin, with the panther stamp underneath. Says made in Italy, model number is 1009460. Has anyone ever heard of this? It was old when I found it, and that was in 1979.

Welcome! I found a lure in my big toe swimming as a kid, I held onto it and hung it on the wall in the garage. If it was that old I would put it up for keeps.
