MrPerfect Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Rough day on Lake Toho overall. We scoped out a few areas with a decent bite, but marginal size fish. It seemed like everytime we established a pattern an air boat would come through and tue bite would go cold (this happened 8 ******* times). We caught one toad just north of the Shingle Creek outflow, but that was our only decent fish. This was the first time I took my Dad out on Toho so I was glad he caught at least one Toho bass. He was using a 10 inch Purple worm just flicking it to the grass and working it out slowly. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted December 31, 2015 Global Moderator Posted December 31, 2015 I hate those things too! Some people say they don't affect the fishing but I don't believe it. Mike Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted January 8, 2016 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted January 8, 2016 I can say from many days of getting skunked on Toho that the best pattern is LOCATION. Keep going back and take some Bitters Mega Vibes with you next time. 1 Quote
68camaro Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I was with guide on Toho couple months ago and bass boat flew near us so close that the waves put a lot of water in boat. I mentioned that if we sink the gators would have late lunch but he laughed and said boat wouldn't sink. But it did say this was largest amount of water that got in boat. He was ticked to say the least. Nice fish though, a day on the water is better........(you know the rest). Quote
