Fluorocarbon or Braid depending on application, clarity, abrasion resistance, etc..

Braid is going to be your best option for thin diameter and sensitivity. It could be your best for "toughness", depending on what you're looking for. If you're wanting abrasion resistance in rock or wood, it's probably not the best option. If you're wanting just high break strength, then it will be your best option.

Braid is the most sensitive on a tight line. Any slack and it's zero sensitivity. F/c in my hands isn't far behind braid. But is much better sensitivity on a slack line.  I switched to braid at the beginning of the year for c rig, paired with an nrx 873 crr, the lightest bites. Feel violent.

I'm looking for all around sensitivity and I want it to last. The lake I fish mostly is very very clear water, like a pools clarity. And doesn't have a whole lot of wood or rock.

For Frogs i have I have switch to Sunline FX-2 When fishing in heavy grass. When fishing in heavy tree cover or rocks I use Gamma or Yo-Zuri  copolymer.  With that being said I do use either Sunline Shooter or Seaguar Tatsu 80% of the time because the sensitivity is excellent on both lines but in my opinion Tatsu has a slight edge. The FX2 (braid) I use for it's breaking strength & casting distance, I see 90% of the strikes so I don't depend on sensitivity.  I have also found that using braid I can cast for better distance, but on a windy day I switch Yo Zuri 30lb test(breaking strength 41.3lb). I don't want to chance a wind knot & end up breaking a rod tip. I used it for years without a problem so I feel I don't lose much.

Power pro slick or sunline Braid with a fluoro leader about 4 ft. Or straight seagar , sunline or mccoy fluoro.

Wait a minute, we need to understand what the OP is going to be using this line for before we can make a recommendation. I would never use FC for topwater but love it as a leader when fishing jigs. He did mention that the water where he fishes is very clear so I'm not sure straight braid will work (depending on the application). I fish natural lakes that are very clear and I just can't see using straight braid for any slow moving presentations.

So FLbass, what's the application?

I am agreeing with this for his original post. But with the clear water added I would tie on that FC leader.

Simple question calls for a simple answer.......Braid

Not to steal the thread from the OP, but the statement about slack line sensitivity makes absolutely no sense.  If the line is slack, nothing will be transmitted back to you regardless of it's make-up . The most sensitive line is the one that has the least stretch and is the densest.

Fluorocarbon is a hard, dense line that, the more quality line(and harder), transmits vibration on a slack line better. Brand has zero "slack line sensitivity" because it is for the most part a 0 density line. If the only fluorocarbon you've used is something like InvisX, I could understand where you are coming from. Thus...tight line-braid will always win and a slack line-fluorocarbon.

This. I have (as have others here) fished long enough with braid, FC and mono to state that because of the higher density of FC, it is the line to use when slack line sensitivity is needed.

But, each line has unique, superior qualities that excel in certain situations. If you're looking for a single line (not braid with leader) to use for all bass fishing situations then I would choose a copolymer.
