fisherrw Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Just ordered a 7 foot heavy. Who has some feedback on this rod? Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted December 29, 2015 Super User Posted December 29, 2015 i couldn't find much of anything on them myself.... i pulled the trigger on a 6'10" L spinning rod last week... they looked so similar to a dobyns champion to me that i didn't think i would be disappointed..... 2 Quote
fisherrw Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 Yea that's one of the reasons why I ordered mine. I'll get it tomorrow and fish it on New Year's Day so guess I'll find out soon.. Quote
ABW Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Powell is a good company. You'll like the rods they have to offer. Quote
PitchinJigz Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Hopefully you didn't take the last one. I ordered a 7' H last night too and I got an email saying some of my items were back ordered. Praying it isn't the rod. I already have a 6'10" L Inferno spinning rod and it's a super nice stick. EDIT: Called TW, you didn't get the last one. 1 Quote
fisherrw Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 Alright good because when I ordered mine it said there was 3+ in stock. 1 Quote
A fisher Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Looked pretty good for the sale price at TW Quote
Drew03cmc Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Mine is rigged, but it'll be Thursday or so before I can even try it. Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted January 4, 2016 Super User Posted January 4, 2016 well, i did get to cast my rod around a little bit, but no bites of any kind to make any real judgements. i bought the 6'10" Light spinning rod and everything about it says it will be a great dropshot rod and my intent is to make it a dedicated drop shot set up. 1 Quote

I also used mine this last weekand and seems like a sweet rod but I caught no fish so no real judgement. 1 Quote
