Hey guys, this isn't the first time I've cleaned my bearings but it is the first time I've tried cleaning them with acetone. I am kind of weary doing this because I was always told that acetone melts plastic but is hard to beat as a solvent. I have a Lews LFS that I will be cleaning and am wondering if I will be good using acetone on the bearings, I don't want to ruin them by having the bearing casings just melt into a goo. If you guys have any alternatives that I could use if this is unsafe for bearings that would be great!

Thanks!
