We are receiving record rainfall here in the Midwest and many other regions are getting the same and worse. I hope none here are in harms way. Be careful out there folks.

After sitting all summer my '55 jeep cj-5 started right up. Here 4 way plow is ready. I think she scared the snow away. But I'm ready all the fluids were checked.

One of the biggest snow storms was the blizzard of 78.

Real men know their limits. When you reach a certain age you realize that crazy is for youngsters.:D

We've had over 6" (some areas locally are well over 9) of rain here in the last 36 hour, with much more to come overnight and in the morning. It's 38° F and the wind is blowing 20-30 mph. I ain't fishing anytime soon...

This has been the warmest December that I have seen living in  South Florida. Almost every day has been in the 80's and our canals have much higher water levels than normal  for this time of year.

We have had around 7" of rain.  Ground was already soaked so the new stuff had no where to go.  Flash flood warning all day Sat., Sun., and Mon.

I was stationed at KI Sawyer AFB in 78.  The base was closed down for 3 days.

This morning, here, it's 70 and suppose to be sunny.  Forecast is for  85.

Every body involved in the bad weather. be careful and hope all goes well.

while at my brother's house in western NC on Christmas eve, the county was under a state of emergency for flooding....  it's been crazy here in GA too.
