I was told by my local dealer that Ranger had discontinued the Z522, with the new Z522D that has arrived.  It's still on the site, and I'm finding new '16 Z522's for sale.  I'm hoping this is the case so I may in fact be able to order a new Z522 to replace the Z22 I sold a couple years back!  Anyone here know otherwise?

I don't know if they're planning on continuing to produce them or not, but if I were you I'd call Ranger directly to inquire about it. I know at one point not that long ago, you could still order boats that were discontinued because they keep all their old hull molds. It might be worth a shot.

Spoke to my dealer who was informed by the factory.  The Z522 will not continue to be built.

Call Ranger directly, not the dealer and see if they will build you one before you count it out.

Are you deadset against the zv522? It really looks like a nice rig in pics. Might be worth a look in person

zv522?  Do you mean the 522D?  That boat is a barge.  Way too tall.  No way it would go into some of the skinny water we fish here on the Delta.
