The 6-6 Hoosier's got into the Quaker Oatmeal Bowl.  Pretty crazy when a 6-6 team makes a bowl game, but I'll take it.

A seat belt violation. Never sent me anything in regards to a court date or anything. I was instructed to call a phone number that reaches its call volume by 7 AM Eastern time. Unless you start calling the Indianapolis traffic court at, I'm guessing, around 3 AM you aren't going to get in touch with them. I am guessing there because I've been trying to contact them for two months now, and still have not gotten in touch with them. Anyway they got my liscense suspended in Alabama over their seat belt ticket. So yeah, I have no clue how much I owe or how to go about paying said ticket plus whatever idiotic fees they have chosen to add to it now.

I do however have the Indiana governors office looking into the matter for me though. I mean it's my civic duty to pay my fines in an expedited manner, without impediment. So, I have in listed his office to try an help me figure out what's going on. 

All this hassle because a state trooper was mad that I didn't pass a slow moving car in the right hand lane.

Addendum to previous post.

I refuse to believe I was in the wrong in regards to that traffic stop or the ticket. I removed my seat belt after being pulled over before the officer was approaching the car. So in that matter I was guilty for having removed my seat belt before the officer was at my vehicle. 

I will however, admit that my mouth is what got me the ticket for lack of seat belt. Telling an officer of the law that, "yes sir I do know where I am. Judging by your uniform and the street signs I am in Indiana," and then later that, "ignorance of the law is no excuse to pull someone over". Is not the correct thing to say. Especially when arguing over the legality of someone driving 50 in the passing lane. As well as not passing in the two left lanes.

So yes. I did it to myself. In this case I make no excuses for my traffic citation.

Wife driving in Penna when her friend grabbed her GPS unit  to comparfe with the friend's telephone map and wife's two right side tires hit the white line on the right side of the road. You know.  The white line put there to help motorists at night stay on the road, especially when they are hit with high beam headlights.

Wife was startled at what her friend did and for only an instant did her tiers hit the white line.

She got pulled and given a ticket for crossing the white line.

So I feel your pain about what happened to you.

We have so many wonderful law enforcement officers that it takes only one or two "gung ho officers" or "jacka$$es" to leave a bad taste in our mouths about all law enforcement people.

After your and my wife's adventure with the law I can understand how people feel about those who put their lives on the line for us every day.

All it takes is one or two bad apples to smear the entire industry.
