Ok so I have a baitcast flipping amd pitching rod/reel setup that I currently use for everything, but I want that to be deticated to just flipping and pitching. I also have a spinning setup for lipless crankbaits and most soft plastics.  I now need a dedicated crankbait rod, I have a reel selected (abu Garcia black max 2) and I need a rod under 100, preferably over 7 foot for crankbaits. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums.

A little more information would help to narrow down things for you, most importantly is; What type of cranks will you be using most often? Shallow, medium, deep divers, square bills, etc. The next thing you'll want to decide is the material. Glass, graphite, or composite?

If you're looking for a multi-purpose cranking stick, Bass Pro, Cabela's, and Gander Mountain all have offerings well below $100.  I suggest taking the reel you intend to use with you whenever going shopping for a rod.

There is a forum here dedicated to rods, reels and line.  You may want to check it out, move your topic there, or both.

You want a moderate action rod.  Something in the MH/heavy range makes sense for deep diving baits (10' plus) while something in the medium range is ideal for square bills, jerkbaits (if you tend to run braid), and most shallow diving baits.  For around $100, there are solid fleeing from St Croix, Abu, and and a ton of other manufacturers.  I'm partial to St Croix and since updating their Mojo series, you may find a Mojo glass Rod on sale for under $100. Do you have a Cabelas or large sporting goods store close by?

Look into Academy's H20 Ethos.  They have a 7' composite cranking rod.  Runs about $60.    Easily comparable to higher $100 rods.

Ok, thank you, I'm new here so I didn't know there was a seperate forum for this kind of thing. And about glass graphite or composite, could you help me understand a little more about the differences, I'm kinda new to rods because I've always just used 1 for everything. Thanks!

One of the best deals going right now for a cranking rod is the St. Croix Rage rods that are in their bargain room here.

These rods retailed in the $150-170 range but are being clearanced at $89, which includes shipping and some extra goodies.  There are three cranking rods still available:

RC72MM - a 7'2" medium power/moderate action rod.  I have this rod in the Legend Elite series and if the Rage is the same, it is a very soft, practically parabolic, rod. OK for the lighter end of the weight range but not the most versatile rod. Weight range 1/4 to 5/8 oz.

RC78MHM - a 7'8" medium-heavy power/moderate action rod. This rod is also a bit soft for an MH, but it will flat sling baits out there a ways. I have this rod in the Rage and it's probably the most versatile of these three rods. Weight range 3/8 to 1 oz. (but probably happiest at 3/4 oz. and under).

RC76MHMF - a 7'6" medium-heavy power/moderate-fast action rod. This rod is the stoutest stick of the three due to the moderate-fast action.  I also have this rod in the Rage. Weight range 3/8 to 1 1/4 oz.  This rod likes the heavier end of it's weight range and I've gone up to 1.3 oz. on it with no problems.

More options to consider...;)

Wow...thanks for this.  I just bought a 7'4" Mojo Glass MM off there for $89 with free shipping.  Think I'm gonna pair it up with a BB1 Pro or a Tatula HD.  Merry Christmas to me!!!

I have three and they all get used differently. The 8' Enigma M/H Is For XD8 & XD10 types and I also throw up to 8" glide baits on it. The 7'9" Phenix glass is for everything under that size in the diver category. The 7' M Duckett is for jerk baits and square bills.

I'm like a robot when I fish (dumb but it's just my nature). I don't take breaks and I never stop casting so I have all my gear set up in a way for what will fatigue me the least after a 500+ cast day.

There are so many options out there. The best advice I can give is buy something that can handle whatever the biggest thing you're going to throw is. It's always a way better scenario to have too much power.
