Griffin road from University drive to Davie road. No activity and the water seemed very shallow.
Fished it from 7 am - 11:30 am

When you say seemed shallow, do you have polarized glasses? That area you went to has several spots. I personally like fishing in the smaller canal systems than very big wide canals. Those run much deeper. You had Weston to the NW of your location that has tons of spots, and Pembroke Pines that was SW of your location. Also an area with tons spots. Keep looking you will find canal/lake systems that will suit your fishing.

U got any pictures of the spot you were at?  I live down south so never been to any canals up in broward.

Thanks! Yup I had polarized glasses. It seemed shallow for me since I would count how long it would take my lipless crank bait to hit bottom. Will keep trying. Will probably hit North New River to try there or go more west on Griffin
