OroBass Posted December 25, 2015 Author Posted December 25, 2015 so some of you guys use a black and blue trailer on a brown jig? Interesting. Quote
OroBass Posted December 25, 2015 Author Posted December 25, 2015 is the bama craw the most "brown" match that rage tail offers. I think that is what I am trying to figure out. Quote

Smokinal Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Bama is more of a green pumpkin/orange. PBJ is probably the most brown. PBJ just flat out catches fish. 1 Quote
herruberraschen Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 They have a "Dirty Craw" color that is brown with green flakes. But don't be afraid to throw contrasting colors or slightly different colors. 1 Quote

The Green Pumpkin (and some of the variations) are about as close to a brown color as any of them. GP is also a Very Effective color in many different situations. A-Jay Quote

I like to keep it simple with jig colors. That is how I play it if I am searching as to where to start. Works quite well actually. Quote
JDJ Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 For a nice mix of green with brown color, you might take a look at Bama Craw. Like Green Pumpkin, it's a very versatile color and matches well with brown and green jig skirts. Quote
boostr Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Maybe Falcon Lake, the red and green pumpkin mix gives it brown color. Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted December 29, 2015 Super User Posted December 29, 2015 Green Pumpkin with purple and gold flakes. Watermelon with black and red flakes had been my favorite color, and it still is for senkos. But for the rage tail products I prefer the green pumpkin with purple and gold flakes. I do keep a few packs of watermelon w/blk and red, but for the most part I stick to the green pumpkin with purple and gold flakes. Quote
