As the title describes, what color rage tail works well with a predominate brown jig.

Nothing works all the time and there are no real rules as far as trailer colors go -

That said, I've had success with Green Pumpkin, Black & Blue as well as anything that has the word "Candy" as part of the description.

Alabama craw, green pumpkin, PB&J, and falcon craw are my most successful on brown jigs

I agree with A-Jay that there are no rules for colors.  I typically use a color that matches the jig head and skirt.  The Dirty Craw and Amber Green colors have worked well for me.  I've also had luck with Alabama Craw and to a lesser degree, the Falcon Lake color.

Your favorite color will work just fine. Mine would be Falcon and PBJ.

You better buy one of each color to make sure you're covered.... just kidding. I like Blue Craw.

More often than not I'll use a green pumpkin with chartreuse dyed tails.

That's how I would start. Start by using your favorite color trailer, and then go from there. Experiment with different contrast and see what seems to get bit more often on that particular day.

Any shade of jig that's not on a extreme side of the color spectrum (black/blue or white) gets a Green Pumpkin trailer in my book. I like to keep it simple with jig colors.

I was going to suggest these exact three but it appears RyneB has it covered already.  Never tried the Falcon so I can't speak on that.

What colors are the crawfish in your area?  With a brown jig, I would use greens, browns, and oranges first.  If those colors don't work I would start trying blues, or blacks.

Really liking that new road kill color and Bama craw.

My favorite is blue craw and green pumpkin but there's so many great ones to choose from. Alabama craw and candy craw are my second favorite.

I've only used Rage chunks and Paca chunks as a trailer. Seing what Catt posted im going to have to try the bugs.
