RedHeadAngler Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 If any of you guys fish lake Gaston I'd like to here about some popular and effective baits for Gaston. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted December 18, 2015 Super User Posted December 18, 2015 Lake Gaston is awesome, most of my like has been skipping docks. Use whatever bait you are comfortable with while skipping. A lot of information here...http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/156963-lake-gaston/ Quote
Logan S Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Whatever your favorite bait is, it's most likely effective on Gaston. I love that lake, it's got a little bit of everything...I can't really think of a technique that hasn't worked for me on that lake at one point or another. Take a look at Brian's link too, good stuff beyond tackle suggestions. Make me pick 2 things for anytime/anyplace on the the lake? Jig and shakeyhead. Quote

You can work a jerkbait painfully slow and get some monsters as well. 1 Quote
Brayberry Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I do best with Jigs by far, but also do pretty well with Shad Raps this time of year Quote
