So I recently purchased some of this from local tackle shop and have been dipping random plastics.  Well last night saw some pack of craws I just got the Zman elastic ones didnt know they cant be dipped.  I dipped it and the line were I dipped the claws just cut off cleanly.  Just made me chuckle guess wont be trying that one again and word of advice to others to not mix the two haha.

Yeah there is a post or two (maybe more) on here about this and the poor people who did what you did to find it out. Also once dipped don't store it with others.

Don't dip elaztech plastics, or store them with regular plastics. They don't play well with others. Anything else I've never had trouble with.

I thought JJ's wasn't acetone based.  Still screws up the zmans, huh?

Couldn't of said it better, I do like the elaztech but they sure are finicky

This seems like some really nasty stuff. Is the benefit of it even worth the chance of what the aftermath would be if you were to spill it over everything? Haha

They make special dye just for Elastec plastics.

JJ's is absolutely worth it and so is Zman baits.
