Well after a year of owning a Tracker Pro Angler 16 with a 40hp Merc I loved the boat but with having a family that likes to cruse or fish, My father and I picked up a 2015 (new) Alumacraft 175 Competitor sport with a 2016 115hp Merc. I ordered a Minkotta with the basic V2 from Cabela's in Indiana. They worked with us on the price and got close to 700 in reward points for great.  Ill pick it up in two weeks or when its ready

Nice boat. May I suggest you skip the V2 and get the Terrova. I promise you will hate the foot control on the V2. If you do want the V2, you will be better off with the Ipilot hand control. I've owned both and would never own or recommend the basic V2 to anyone.

The kit is easy to install if you do go that route. Enjoy your new rig

Thanks, Newer pic, getting everything switch over from the tracker to the Aluma. I have to say " the tracker has about the same amount of storage room as the Aluma but the Aluma has smaller compartments then the tracker making it somewhat challenging to store everything with out taking up rod storage. What would help is getting better life jackets and dropping the cheep large orange neck wrap style. IMG_1607.thumb.JPG.7fa1f679c6dfa84bbb070

Congratulations.  Nice boat.  There is a store near by that is an Alumacraft dealer and I have stopped by many times and admired the boats.
