Bruce424 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Does anyone know how to get rid of tarnish off of a baitcaster? The chrome accent pieces usually at the line guide or thumbar have it and it bugs me. Haha. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Quote
cottny27 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Simichrome seems to polish anything. That's the best I have found. Quote
Big C Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 HMMM...I don't know about plastic, their website says furniture, cars, and floors. If it's plastic I would try Mr. Clean Magic Erasers before anything else. Magic Erasers are pretty amazing, I wouldn't be suprised if they do it for ya. Quote
Kevinator1 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Yeah, some of the thumbars on Revo's do that...but what i did was just order some black thumbars from Lew's and replaced them. Not expensive either. That so called chrome just doesn't hold up well, makes them look cheap. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted December 12, 2015 Super User Posted December 12, 2015 Maybe try a good automotive cleaner wax. I've used it on street bike fairings, so it's safe on plastic. Quote
