Don's rod feels good, haven't had a chance to fish the spinning yet. The rods are designed to be a all around finesse use rod, Don also uses the casting rod for top water splash-it.

What's the lightest thing you have comfortably thrown with them?Apparently they are rated to 1/8th,would you say they are true to their rating?

I bought a casting rod but haven't used it yet....TW had the wrong weights listed for it, they listed the spinning on the casting model. I emailed them to change it, they havent yet. It balances perfectly with a daiwa px-r. Luckily I also bought a Phenix Maxim that can cast the weights I need.

So what are the ratings? That would irritate me.

Which maxim did you get?I was looking at the 6'10 med lt.
