jr1945 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 had a guy ask me if i could make a topwater snake bait. this is 14" long + another 3" with the plastic tail attached. 2.3 oz. sorry for the noise on the video, wind was blowing and i forgot to turn off the sound mode. Quote
RobE Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 That is the coolest thing I have seen in a while! Quote
BIG M Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 JR, you are a sick man but by far the best ever at building anything dealing with swimbaits. That one is just cool. How long did it take to build that bait? Quote
jr1945 Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 JR, you are a sick man but by far the best ever at building anything dealing with swimbaits. That one is just cool. about 10 hours. getting all the segments joined takes the longest. i'll be trying it out as soon as the water warms some, still on the cold side for topwater. How long did it take to build that bait? Quote
Mattlures Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Have you tried it without the bill? I am curious to see how it swims without it. It doesnt look like the bill is helping it. Good looking snake. Quote
jr1945 Posted March 15, 2010 Author Posted March 15, 2010 i did. not nearly the action. the action was just in the last 2 segments. with the bill i got action from the head to the tail. Quote
NewAngler Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Shoot me a PM if you want to sell one or two of those.. Quote
Fishwhittler Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Awesome bait! You should put rattles in the tail of the next one you do... Quote
